Privacy policy

Savage Social is a Phoenix-based marketing agency operated by Arina Tannenbaum. We collect the minimum information needed to provide our services. We don't sell your data. We don't run ad-tech tracking on this site.

What we collect from the website

  • Contact form submissions: name, email, message, and any subject parameter you arrived with. Used to reply to you and (if you opt in) follow up about the topic you reached out about.
  • Site analytics: standard Netlify access logs (IP, user-agent, referrer) for security and performance monitoring. Not connected to any ad network.

What the Savage AI-SEO plugin collects on your WordPress site

  • Free tier: nothing leaves your server. The plugin reads your posts and pages to generate /llms.txt, JSON-LD schema, and robots.txt entries — all output stays on your site.
  • Pro tier: when you use AI-generation features (meta tags, alt text, GMB drafts, review-reply drafts), the plugin sends the relevant content — post titles, page excerpts, image URLs, your business onboarding profile, the specific review or post you're replying to — to our proxy at api.savagesocial.com. The proxy forwards the request to Anthropic's Claude API, returns the generated text, and does not retain the content past the request.
  • Google Business Profile connection: when you connect GMB, our proxy completes the OAuth handshake with Google and returns a token reference to your WordPress site. The refresh token itself is stored in your own WordPress database (wp_options), not on our servers. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes the token from your DB.
  • License key: we store your license key in your WordPress DB and verify it against our license server every 24 hours. The license check sends only the key and your site URL.

What we never collect

  • Visitor data from your WordPress site (we don't add tracking pixels or any visitor-facing code).
  • Anything from your Claude account — the agent runs in your own Claude Pro subscription, and we never see those conversations.
  • Payment card details. When you purchase, payment is processed by Stripe/Paddle directly. We receive only the resulting transaction confirmation.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA)

If you're in the EU, UK, or California — or anywhere with similar laws — you can ask us to: see the data we have on you, correct it, delete it, or export it. Email arinatann1@gmail.com with "Data request" in the subject. We respond within 30 days.

Uninstalling the plugin and emptying the trash via your WordPress admin removes our settings from your site. If you also want our license records deleted from our server, email us.

Terms of service

Plain version: we built software, you can use it, you pay what's posted on the sales page, we provide it as-is, and either of us can walk away with notice.

What you're buying

  • The Free plugin: licensed under GPL-2.0+ (same as WordPress). Use it forever, modify it, redistribute it under the same license.
  • The Pro plugin and Claude agent ($79 / $49 / $99 bundle): a one-time purchase for unlimited personal use on the licensed number of sites. You get 1 year of updates and email support from your purchase date. After 1 year, the plugin you have keeps working — there are no forced renewals or auto-charges — but you no longer receive updates or support unless you re-purchase. All sales final, no refunds except for the narrow plugin-can't-install case described in the refund section above.
  • The Pro plugin's source code is provided. You can read, audit, and modify it for your own use. Redistribution is not permitted without our written permission.

What we promise

  • The plugin will run as described on the sales page at the time of your purchase.
  • We'll provide email support and bug fixes for 1 year from your purchase date.
  • Material changes to the product or this agreement will be announced via email.

What we don't promise

  • No guarantee of AI citations or search rankings. SEO results depend on countless factors outside our control. The plugin optimizes for the signals AI engines weigh today; whether that translates to citations or traffic depends on your content, domain authority, query, and ongoing changes at Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Perplexity.
  • No guarantee of uninterrupted service. Our proxy at api.savagesocial.com will have occasional downtime. We strive for high availability but don't offer an SLA on the one-time-purchase product.
  • No legal, financial, or medical advice. Content generated by the plugin is general marketing copy. Don't use it for legal disclosures, financial promises, or medical claims.

Limitation of liability

Our maximum liability for any claim related to the plugin or agent is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, lost rankings, business interruption). This doesn't apply where the law says it can't (e.g., gross negligence or willful misconduct).

If we stop offering the product

If we ever sunset the Pro features (e.g., shut down the Savage proxy), we'll give 90 days notice via email and provide a final update that makes the plugin's Pro features work standalone where technically feasible.

Refund policy

All sales are final. No refunds. The Pro plugin, the Claude agent, and the bundle are one-time digital purchases — once you pay and we deliver the download link, the sale is complete. We don't refund for buyer's remorse, missed features, AI-search outcomes, or "I changed my mind."

Why no refunds? Digital downloads can't be returned. The plugin's full source code, documentation, and license is yours the moment you complete checkout. We price the product low ($79) so you can decide based on the sales page + the free version + this legal page — without needing a refund safety net.

The narrow exception

If the plugin cannot install or activate at all on a standard WordPress 5.5+ / PHP 7.4+ setup, that's our problem and we'll either fix it or refund you. To qualify, email arinatann1@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase with:

  • Your order number
  • Your WordPress version + PHP version
  • The exact error you see during install or activation (screenshot helps)

We'll respond within 2 business days. If we can fix it remotely (vast majority of cases), we will. If the plugin genuinely can't run on your setup, you get a full refund. This exception does NOT cover: theme conflicts, conflicts with other plugins after install, missing AI features (those are stubbed in v1.0 — see the sales page), or anything that worked at first and broke later.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without emailing us first, we'll dispute it with the chargeback evidence and this policy attached. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us are considered abusive and the dispute will not be resolved in your favor unless required by law.

If you have any issue at all, email us first — we are reachable, we respond fast, and most issues are fixable.

The Free plugin

The Free plugin is free, so refund policy doesn't apply. If it doesn't work for you, uninstall it — no money was charged.

AI content disclaimer

The Pro plugin and Claude agent generate content — meta titles, meta descriptions, alt text, GMB post drafts, review reply drafts, content briefs — using AI models (currently Anthropic's Claude). This content can be wrong, off-brand, or contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing every AI-generated output before it's published or sent.

What we hardcode

  • GMB posts: the plugin drafts but never auto-publishes. You explicitly click "Schedule" or "Send" on every post.
  • GMB review replies: the plugin drafts only. There is no setting to auto-send. You explicitly click "Send" on every reply.
  • Outreach emails (Claude agent): the agent drafts only. You copy the draft into your own inbox and send from there. The agent never sends email on your behalf.
  • Meta tags + alt text: the plugin saves AI-generated values to your database but they remain editable. Review them before publishing pages that use them.

What you should never do

  • Use AI-generated content in regulated industries (legal, medical, financial) without subject-matter-expert review.
  • Use AI-generated content as legal disclaimers, terms of service, privacy policies, or medical claims.
  • Auto-deploy AI content to live pages without ever reading it.

About training

Content you submit to our proxy is forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic's API terms (as of June 2026) state that API content is not used to train Anthropic's models by default. If those terms change, we'll update this policy and notify you.

Google Business Profile usage

If you connect your GMB account through the plugin, you're authorizing Savage Social's verified Google OAuth application to act on your behalf for the specific scopes shown during connection: read your business profile, post updates, read and reply to reviews, manage Q&A. These scopes match what's required to deliver the GMB features described on the sales page.

How we follow Google's rules

  • No fully automated review replies. Google's GMB terms prohibit this. The plugin drafts replies for your approval; it never sends a reply automatically.
  • No spammy posts. Auto-posts use your real business profile content, never bulk-generated junk.
  • No keyword stuffing. AI-generated GMB content is reviewed for Google's content guidelines before our proxy returns it to your site.

Disconnecting

Click "Disconnect Google Business Profile" in the plugin's GMB settings. The OAuth token is deleted from your WordPress database immediately, and our proxy revokes the upstream Google permission within 24 hours.

If you have a complaint we can't resolve, you may contact: the Arizona Attorney General's Consumer Protection division, or your local data protection authority (e.g., your EU member state's DPA, the UK ICO, or the California Attorney General).
